The latched head is easily opened and then secured to ensure that only the intended wire gets crimped. Universal die reception is compatible with most common 60kN U-dies on the market. More space between the die seats enables our users to insert and remove dies while the latch is closed and to easily align on large connectors. Predictive Force Monitoring (PFM™) constantly measures output force to ensure full pressure is reached and that the output force is the same over the life of the tool delivering consistently uniform crimps. The crimper also performs a pre-crimp battery check to ensure that the battery has enough charge to complete a full crimp.
