The work station needs some clamps for the slots in the base. (I made some using 8mm coach bolts with the square under the head)

Makes long cuts at different angles absolute child's play. And the clamps that fit into the guide rail ensure nothing moves and your cut is bang on. So glad I brought this.
Not cheap, but totally worth it IMO.
Good quality shoe and great service by provider. Allows DCS578 to work with Dewalt guide rail tracks. However, 2nd slot does not allow saw to work with Makita/Festool tracks (unless you like cutting into your aluminum.)

Good product for the price,could probably do with some small tweaks to improve usability but no complaints and would definitely recommend. All in all a very handy little tool that is good for number of uses including sharpening my lathe and milling machine HSS tools.
Excellent socket set that accommodates most hex head bolt or nut configurations whether they be metric or imperial sized. Slender tool box makes storage in car boot situation far better for storage when traveling.
