The TS-740 Sharpening Station is a high quality sharpening station with customized drawers to snugly fit your Tormek storage trays. Correct working position
Most benches are far too high to give you proper control when sharpening. You're in a comfortable position when your shoulders are relaxed and your arms are extended at waist height. Then you can use the right amount of pressure and get the best results.
Based on this observation, Tormek has developed the TS-740 Sharpening Station which means you always get the ideal working position adjusted according to your height. This allows you to keep working for longer without feeling fatigued. The height can be adjusted between 750 mm (29 1/2") and 830 mm (32 5/8"). The four feet are individually adjustable, so you can compensate for uneven floors as well.
Everything fits perfectly
The TS-740 Sharpening Station comes with Tormek's storage trays – the T8-00 Storage Tray for Tormek T-8 Accessories, HTK-00 Storage Tray for Hand Tool Kit and TNT-00 Storage Tray for Woodturner's Kit, as well as the RM-533 Rubber Work Mat (other accessories and jigs not included). The three storage trays fit perfectly into one each of the six custom-made drawers. The other three drawers come equipped with practical rubber mats. The top two boxes are 60 mm (2 3/8") high, and the other four are 95 mm (3 3/4") high.
The specially designed drawers and storage trays mean you can keep track of your favorite jigs and accessories, with everything in its place and readily accessible when you need it. The drawers also have a soft-close function. In a nutshell: it's a real sharpening station.
Side storage for extra grinding wheels
You can easily store your extra grinding wheels on the side of the sharpening station if you have more than one. You can then leave them to dry after use without getting moisture build-up in your drawers. Two hooks are included, and these are easy to mount in the holes on the sides of the sharpening station.
Safe, hardwearing storage
The TS-740 Sharpening Station has a central lock, and does of course come with a key. That way you can be sure your valuable Tormek products won't go missing. Just put your jig or accessory back in its place in the right storage tray and lock it up!
This sharpening station has a durable finish. It's protected by a scratch-resistant powder coating and has rounded corners to minimize the risk of damage. To both the sharpening station and yourself! Moreover, the RM-533 Rubber Work Mat provides you with a durable and waterproof work surface.
