About this item:

  • 10mm HSSE-V3 Yellow Band Spiral Flute Tap
  • HSSE-V3 HSSE with 3% Vanadium high performance tap.
  • Optimised for machining Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys.
  • Spiral flute with 40º helix angle.
  • Designed for tapping blind holes where the right hand spiral forces swarf out of the hole and prevents clogging which may cause breakage or spoiled threads.
  • Designed to withstand the high stress and high heat associated with CNC production tapping.
  • Optimised geometry to manage difficult long chip formation and material which has tendencies to stick to the tool.
  • For machining materials with Hardness < 200 HB : Tensile Strength <700 N/mm2.
