Exciting news, the ever popular DF500 will be available soon as a cordless version. This is a professional-grade tool built for the modern job site and workshop. It’s an evolution of the highly successful corded model, redesigned to be completely independent of mains power. Most features that everyone loves will remain the same, however improvement have been made based on feedback from the larger XL Domino joiner. The Built-in stop pins for repeating dowel placement will be upgraded. The joiner will work with slot cutter diameters of  4, 5, 6, 8, and 10 mm to a maximum routing depth of 28mm. The cordless joiner will be compatible with the Airstream batteries which cools the battery to increase performance, increase the life and allow fast charging.

Enhanced Design and Precision

Festool has significantly upgraded the core tool, starting with the guide frame. It now features a robust double column guide and a user-friendly turn-tilt quick-release lever for fast, secure adjustments. The standout feature is the innovative stop system. It uses four lockable stop pins that enable precise, repeatable positioning of the machine. This eliminates the need for time-consuming measuring and marking for repetitive dowel placements, ensuring speed and accuracy on site. The improved guide frame offers enhanced stability and flexibility.

The DFC 500 is built for mobile use. It’s powered by a high-performance 18-volt battery, which allows you to work independently of power outlets—ideal for construction sites or flexible workshop setups. When paired with a cordless dust extractor, you achieve a completely lead-free workspace.
