Description
The “Type B” FDBZ flap discs are manufactured using reinforced glass fibre backs and zirconia grit. These flap discs in particular are suited to general purpose applications such as weld removal, grinding and clean up on stainless steel and aluminium.
Zirconia flap discs offer consistent grinding and finishing performance. They have a long life in comparison to resin fibre discs, and you will find that there is reduced vibration and noise compared to depressed centre grinding discs.
However, for faster cutting and longer life, then the Garryson Aluminium Back flap discs, “Type A” (FDAZ), should be used.
Josco offers the Garryson Type A Flap Discs in 100mm, 115mm, 127mm and 180mm, with grits ranging from 36G to 120G.
