Description
CBN Grinding Wheels by Oltre are a top choice for sharpening Wood Turning Tools. These wheels boast 4 times higher abrasive resistance, 55 times higher thermal conductivity, and twice the hardness of aluminium oxide wheels. This makes them ideal for V10 or any High Speed Steel (HSS) tools. Plus, with CBN wheels, you can sharpen without coolant as they do not overheat or burn the tools. They also offer excellent steel removal, leaving a sharp edge and smooth finish with minimal effort. Additionally, CBN wheels have a long lifespan and never need to be redressed. They can be easily mounted on a 3000 RPM or 1500 RPM bench grinder. The 200mm wheels have 40mm of grit across the width.

Reduction Bushes Reduction bushes may be required to fit the CBN Grinding Wheels to your grinder.
Please Note: Should you wish to use a CBN wheel, please note that the preferred width is 40mm. However, the Oltre is designed for a 25mm wheel, so to safely install the 40mm CBN wheels, the guard must be removed. Always ensure that safety precautions are followed during this process.
