One of the more useful add-ons for your Tormek Sharpening System is a tool rest. But not just any tool rest, but Tormek's own Universal Tool Rest with the patented Torlock system. This versatile tool rest has a wedge-shaped design, allowing for increased locking support (250% more than competing rests.) This allows you supreme confidence in the rock-solid support it offers, and also means any angle can be achieved with the same support. Locking is as simple as can be. The generous surface measures 3 ½ by 4 ½ inches, making it ideal for Turning Scrapers, Hollowing Tools Thin Parting Tools, Cabinet Scrapers, Screw Drivers, and even Spoke Shave Blades.
