If you have an 18V Makita Fan Jacket this is the adapter you need. I use a slim 3Ah battery and it runs all day on the low and medium settings. With the 6Ah I’ve never had it go flat in a working day. The holder is convenient clipping on a belt and easy to change speeds. The fans are easily replaced and available on eBay. These are used in awful conditions in Japan tunneling and are quite reliable. You do need the different speeds as on full they can be too cool sometimes if you are sweating.

These are fantastic helmets. I have used them for many years with students and for personal use. The large viewing area is really helpful.
as a wood turner its one jig after another to get tools sharp and at the right angle the Tri gauge fixes all these and setup is so much quicker and my tools now sharp and at the right angles too
