The Festool ETS EC 150/3 EQ-Plus Random Orbital Sander delivers a smooth, consistent finish across timber, paint, lacquer, solid surfaces and other fine-finishing applications.
Its powerful 400W brushless EC-TEC motor combines professional sanding performance with long service life and minimal maintenance. The compact, low-profile design places your hand close to the work surface, giving you excellent control and feel—particularly when sanding benchtops, furniture, cabinetry, doors and large flat surfaces.
The fine 3mm sanding stroke produces a refined scratch pattern, making the ETS EC 150/3 particularly suitable for final sanding before painting, staining, oiling, sealing or polishing.
Built for comfortable all-day sanding
Festool’s integrated vibration control actively monitors the machine and automatically reduces speed if excessive vibration is detected. This helps protect the operator while maintaining smooth, controlled sanding performance.
The sanding pad brake reduces uncontrolled pad rotation and helps prevent surface scratches when placing the sander onto the workpiece. Combined with the MULTI-JETSTREAM 2 sanding system and a compatible Festool dust extractor, it provides highly efficient dust removal and helps extend abrasive life.
Ideal for polished plaster and decorative finishes
The ETS EC 150/3 is an excellent fine-finishing sander for selected polished plaster, microcement and decorative coating systems when used with the appropriate Festool abrasive and dust extraction setup.
For more aggressive preparation or material removal, consider beginning with a Festool ROTEX RO 150, then finishing with the ETS EC 150/3 to achieve a more refined surface.
