- Reverse Switch – tangled grass clippings can be removed by slow reverse rotation of the cutting tool (automatically stops after three seconds) by pressing the 'R" button and pulling trigger
- Tool-less Attachment Change – there is a button on the trimmer head which locks the spindle when changing the cutting attachment which replaces the need for an allen key
- Automatic Torque Drive Technology – when the trimmer encounters thick grass or weeds, the rpm of the motor will increase to get through efficiently
- Universal Cutting Guard – one guard is suitable for use with nylon line, metal or plastic cutting blades
