Description
A massive tool suitable for precise cutting of joints, for creating mortises, etc. The excellent cutting properties of the tool are achieved by under-grinding the side surfaces of the blade lengthwise and vertically, which prevents the side surfaces of the tool from rubbing against the walls of the hole being created. The forged blade is made of traditional Cr-Mn steel heat-treated to a hardness of 59 HRc. The massive handle made of hard and tough hornbeam wood allows for a firm grip and can withstand strong mallet blows.
